She said that the charge internally showed as 12/17/22. My billing cycle ends on the 17th each month. She came back with a charge posted on 11/18/22 as being the reason for the charge. She had to put me on hold twice and the call took 10 minutes for her to understand what was going on. I asked her to look at the 12/13/22 wording of no charges due. She said she was not familiar with charges posting in that way. 12/23/22 I called customer service and ****** could not understand the way the charge was worded. They did not reply and the chat disappeared. I typed back that if you look at the payment made 12/13/22 you can see it was paid in full with no charges due. When I saw this on 12/22/22 I did a secure chat with Safe CU to see what the charge was for and they typed back that it was based on my account balance. 12/18/22 Safe CU charged a PeriodicFinanceCharge (this is how it appears on the account - no spaces). My online account shows that all the funds paid on 12/13/22 went to principal and no funds went to interest or finance charges. Regarding my Safe Credit Union **** account ending in 4700:12/13/22 I paid my **** account balance in full a day early since when I paid on the due date last year you had to help me get my fraudulent finance charge back from this institution. I asked to speak to the resolution specialist and she offered me no assistance either, and just told me to file a police report. The representative then told me I couldnt dispute the claim since 60 days had already passed from that supposed email. I never received any emails from them at all, I was checking daily. The representative stated they sent me an email in October of 2022 saying that my claim had been denied. I called them today () to get an update on said claim. I kept my Safe account open though, in hopes that the bank would approve the claim and return my money. I got fed up and transferred all my money to another bank. My claim that was filed was being reviewed for months, and I had heard nothing from Safe (no emails, calls, etc.) regarding this claim. I had my debit card cancelled and received a new card, yet the fraud kept occurring. I reported this to my bank when the incident first occurred on August 8, 2022. I have had extensive credit card fraud on my debit card from Safe Credit Union-totaling $1,510.
